Why we built it
The shops near us were taking bookings on the phone, in DMs, and in a notebook by the till. Every call arrived in the middle of something — mid-cut, mid-colour, hands full — and the ones that came in after closing were simply lost.
The alternative was supposed to be building your own site. In practice that means a designer, a developer, a booking plugin and a year of keeping it alive. Nobody running a salon has an afternoon for that, let alone a year.
So Rantevo does the boring half — the domain, the certificate, the calendar, the reminders, the arithmetic that stops two people booking the same chair — and stays out of the way of the half that is actually yours.
