Set your opening hours

Updated 2026-08-05

Go to Settings → Hours to set the days and times your business is open.

These are the outer boundary. What a customer is actually offered is narrower, because three other things also apply.

The three things that narrow it

Provider hours. Each person has their own hours, and a customer only sees the overlap of yours and theirs. See Add your team and their hours.

Service duration. A 90-minute service needs a 90-minute gap. If you close at 18:00, the last 90-minute slot starts at 16:30, not 17:45.

Your booking rules, under Settings → Booking:

  • Slot interval decides which start times are offered — every 15 minutes, every 30, and so on.
  • Minimum lead time is how far ahead someone must book. Set it to two hours and nothing in the next two hours is offered, so nobody can book you for ten minutes from now.
  • Cancellation and reschedule windows control how late a customer can change their own booking. Outside the window they have to contact you, and you can still do it from the admin.

Timezone

Your timezone is set under Settings → Business, and everything is calculated in it, not in the customer's timezone and not in the browser's. A customer abroad still sees your local opening times.

Rantevo handles daylight saving changes for you. On the day the clocks move, your 09:00 is still your 09:00.

Changing hours later

Changing your hours does not touch bookings that already exist. If you shorten a day and something is already booked in the part you removed, that booking stays and you will still see it in Bookings. Rantevo will not cancel a customer's appointment because a setting changed.

For a change on specific dates rather than a permanent one, use Closures instead: Close for a holiday or time off.
